FULL-TIME SCHOOL NUTRITION EMPLOYEE QUALIFICATIONS: Education: None-high school diploma or GED preferred

REPORTS TO: School Nutrition Manager

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of the school nutrition food assistant are similar to those in the list below, but they may be increased, decreased, or otherwise modified.

1. Performs all food & nutrition duties assigned by the cafeteria manager
2. Practices procedures in food preparation, use & care of equipment, and personal habits to assure that sanitation & safety standards are met
3. Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Possible work hours vary by location (could be as early as 6 a.m. and as late as 4 p.m.)
• The total number of hours worked per day varies by location (minimum of 6 hours, maximum 7.5 hours)
